Motorboat McKnickers has spent her life, for the most part, in the southeastern United States, where she has held jobs as a photo lab technician, a glass bender for a neon sign company, a vinyl sign artist, a baker, a secretary for a cheese wholesaler, and a general manager for a troupe of belly dancers. Rapidly approaching her thirties, Motorboat is searching for the path that leads her to her one true mistress, the ocean.

Currently, Motorboat is earning her degree in painting for the theater, wherein she will earn enough money to buy the boat she dreams of; The Concubine. Relevant skills include: gold leafing, faux finishing, trompe l’oiel, mural painting, foam carving, sewing, designing, cooking, and making my lady blush. Motorboat is a registered Democrat, but she’s not terribly pleased with them, either. Motorboat considers herself a realistic dreamer, a cynical romantic, a formalistic artist, a law-abiding criminal genius, and a card shark.
